. It is a species of Old World which is strongly dichromatic, so that adult males are undeniable, with the chest and back brown, rump and belly yellow, olive-green. The female has an olive green back, yellow breast and white tips on outer tail feathers.
nectarines are placed in the taxonomic family, Nectariniidae, which was so named because most of these birds feed on (you guessed it) nectar. Its thin down-curved bills and brush tipped tubular languages ??are specially adapted for nectivory. Flower tubes are trained to prevent access to the nectar are drilled in the base near nectaries hungry for nectarines.
