Banda

show a social conscience with a touch of humor in one hour special of the United States show

"If you were real fans, that would be watching this on vinyl ... Prepare, Radiohead - which is about to turn Televisionface "

With this introduction, Stephen Colbert, one-hour special on The Colbert Report with Radiohead ("presented by Dr. Pepper, Radiohead, except that occur because they are not tool Company ") started much in the vein, which lasted one hour, from authentic human Geek Colbert fandom, the obligations incumbent commentator comedy Colbert prudent person.

Despite Bill O'Reilly-esque character he plays, Colbert has often used the Comedy Central show to enjoy his O'Reilly-esque little love for music and musicians. Cars' Ric Ocasek has become almost normal guests and, more recently, shows several with Jack White. But Radiohead has only one full hour for the first time in the show itself, too.

"It will be an extraordinary event for music nerds. So if I have paramedics standing hipster, "Colbert said, pointing to a particular medical sarcastic fell on a side stage.

But despite the jokes, Colbert was gently visibly excited about the band in general, the interview-averse in their program. But the band member was still very happy to be there.

Thom Yorke in particular - is not a man known for his sense of humor -. It was clearly the best moment of his life, being ribbed by comedian and even make jokes back

"Why do Americans like you?" Colbert required.

"I do not know. No idea," said Yorke, a sly in the audience.

When Colbert suggested that it was only a remnant of Beatlemania, Yorke said they were "waiting for the greeting of the plane with all the crowds and shit."

"How old are you?" Colbert continued. After some umming, Yorke, sporting a gray beard, says it's 42.

"Grow up, man," spat Colbert. The group laughed, delighted.
