The International News Safety Institute (INSI) is organizing a major debate on the safety of journalists at its launch in North America.
Billed as

), the debate will be held Oct. 14 at the headquarters of The Associated Press in New York.
In announcing the debate, INSI refers to it being "an unprecedented year of memorable events and historical," in which the statement has proven to be dangerous for journalists around the world . His statement continues:
