Sea Shepherd founder and former environmentalist arrested on charges related to Costa Rica, shark fin operation
A longtime activist against the whaling was arrested in Germany on charges related to an incident in 2002 when he piloted the boat tried to stop poachers killed illegally sharks.
environmental organization Sea Shepherd, Paul Watson said that he was arrested at Frankfurt airport to meet an order of extradition Costa Rica "vessel traffic violation."
The incident took place in the waters of Guatemala ten years ago when Watson ship, the Farley Mowat, met a shark finning illegal operation run by a ship of Costa Rica, Varadero.
