Estranged wife of Robert Kennedy Jr was found dead aged 52 at his home in Bedford, New York

Mary Kennedy paid tribute to his "kindness, love, soul, spirit and generous sweet" after he was found dead at his home in Bedford, New York, on Wednesday.
Mary Richardson Kennedy, 52, the ex-wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., had suffered from drug and alcohol for years.
had a long term relationship of the Kennedy clan. In 1994, she married Robert Kennedy Jr., an eminent jurist of the environment, the son of former Senator Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy. The couple had four children, the youngest was born in July 2001.
Robert Kennedy Jr. has two children from a previous marriage.
Mary Kennedy was an architect and designer and oversaw the renovation of the couple's home in a masterpiece of high-tech environment. His family was cited his dedication to his children in his memory.
In a statement issued by the Chief of Staff Robert Kennedy Jr, the family said Mary Kennedy was "a genius for friendship, an extremely talented architect and a pioneer and tireless advocate ecological design that strengthening its avant-garde creations energy efficiency with exquisite taste and style. "
"We deeply regret the death of our dear sister Mary, whose influence and creative spirit will be deeply missed by those who loved him," his family said. "Our heart goes out to her children, she loved unconditionally."

Mary Richardson Kennedy had known for years, thanks to his friendship with Robert Kennedy Jr sister Kerry Kennedy, whom he met at the school. She had been maid of honor Kerry Kennedy at her wedding in 1990.
