question:

This bird mystery of Kenya is placed in a large family and very recognizable, but in the case of this species, its name is common somewhat misleading: how? Can you identify this bird taxonomic family and species? Also, if you are a birder long mystery, then you have seen this kind (in fact, this photo very) soon: when did

Despite many similarities with members of his family, White-throated Bee-eaters are somewhat different from them, as only among family members, especially eating flying ants and beetles. In white-throated bee-eaters are migratory, breeding in colonies in open floor dry sand, as flat and thorny bushes arid regions along the southern edge of the Sahara desert, and winter in the rainforest that s' stretching from Senegal to southern Uganda.

Abejaruco The white collar has bright colors and printed feathers with green back, a white face and a black crown with a bold black and eyestripe neckband, red eyes and black bill. The long tail is blue with two very elongated central tail streamers are narrow and very sharp. The underparts are pale green with a pale blue box. The lower wings are fawn with black wing tips. The sexes are similar.

If you followed the mystery bird for a while, then you will not remember having seen this before, when I was with different photographers mystery bird during the week between Christmas and New Year
