a thick white blanket gently settled in the seaside town of Cleveleys near Blackpool, on Wednesday, but it was not the snow season from above.

The Environment Agency has sent officers to gather evidence and Princess Promenade lot of foam entering the street from the sea and drowned, cars and houses.

The foam is whipped by strong winds, once or twice a year along the promenade of the city and disappears soon after, a spokesman for the agency told the Guardian.

officials visited on Wednesday and again Thursday to gather more samples. The results of these tests is expected to confirm that the foam is natural and not caused by the detergent in sea water or other pollution.

By studying the foam, the agency hopes to learn how and why they form and will therefore predict when the foam.


"If we can understand what the conditions that cause, which will help us to predict and help local authorities involved in the cleanup," she said.
